Special Addition - MLPR-XMP

IACP, Dallas, Texas	“The Show Must Go On!!!” In the Fall of 2008, SkyCop® Systems released its MLPR (Mobile License Plate Recognition) System for preview to the world. After extensive planning, a series of prototype demonstration vehicles was deployed in early 2009 for an 18-month show, tell, and listen tour. The tour included national regional security trade shows, military shows, and many one-on-one personal demonstrations. Along with the showing and telling, the team did a lot of listening to our customers and found that SkyCop's® demonstration vehicles needed an occasional pit stop for enhancements to continue to provide features that are adaptable and flexible for users within any environment. These actions have led to the latest enhancements in the SkyCop® Integrated Platform with the introduction of the MLPR-XMP (Mobile License Plate Recognition Extended Mobile Platform). The new XMP design includes additional advanced features such as Radar/ Video Overlay, GPS Tagging of plates and video, Mesh Radio Integration, Mobile Terminal Integration, Extended in the Vehicle Video / Audio, and many other advanced “ala-carte” user options. XMP allows users the needed flexibility of a building block system so they can select functional options that are right and expandable for their specific needs and requirements at a flexible price point.
